Voždovac

The municipality of Voždovac was named after Vožd (duke) Karadjordje and it is one of seventeen Belgrade municipalities. It connects the old part of the city with the mountain Avala and its villages. By the mid-20th century, the urban part of Voždovac consisted of Pašino brdo and Dušanovac, and since then new settlements have been built: Šumice, Konjarnik, Braće Jerković, Medaković, Banjica, Kumodraž and the newest Stepa Stepanović settlement.

All settlements of the municipality of Voždovac are well connected with the city center and provide all conditions for a comfortable and peaceful life in an environment full of greenery, free space and landscaped parks. Real estate prices vary, depending on the part of Voždovac, so those in the parts closer to the city center will be more expensive per square meter than the same ones on its edges.

What makes life more comfortable for the inhabitants of Voždovac is the infrastructure that includes kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, faculties, numerous hypermarkets, health and sports facilities, as well as cultural facilities. The large areas of this municipality are under the greenery which is declared for the natural wealth, such as the Avala Mountain and the Banjica Forest. All this contributes to the increased demand for real estate on Voždovac, where the price range per square meter can satisfy the needs of a large number of customers.
