Zemun

Zemun is a particularly beautiful and significant part of the city, located on the right bank of the river, and as it is elevated in relation to it and protected from floods, it has always been a pleasant neighborhood for living, which contributed to its tumultuous history, full of ups and downs. After the construction of the bridge across the Sava River, in 1934, Zemun was administratively merged to Belgrade, and in 1945, it became one of its municipalities.

In many ways specific, Zemun today, represents a part of the city in which architecture, many segments of its development can be seen. The oldest part of this municipality represents Donji grad, Ćukovac, Muhar and Gardoš. In this part of the city, real estate buyers can find old, saloon apartments, as well as those in post-war buildings, and experience says that they all attract a lot of interested clients. Apartments that especially hold the price are in the buildings next to the quay, especially those with a view of the Danube.

Zemun is part of a city with many houses, which also contributes to its attractiveness. Customers interested in apartments in post-war buildings should look for them in Upper Town, Kalvarija, as well as in settlements Sava Kovačević, Sutjeska or Nova Galenika.  In these parts of Zemun, as well as on the Altina or the Blue horizons, houses and plots for construction can also be found. Zemun has a large number of kindergartens, schools, state and private health institutions, as well as institutions of culture and sports, one of the most famous markets, beautiful quay and many restaurants, cafes and a large number of cultural events. It is perfectly connected to other parts of the city as well as to the highway.
